As Art Director, I led the creative development and design of a TV commercial for Bazooka, a popular candy brand, as part of the “Power Up” campaign developed with my team at UltraSuperNew.

Concept

Concept

The concept: when kids eat the candy, they transform into superheroes, drawing inspiration from early 2000s kids shows, with low-poly graphics, campy VFX, and high-energy chaos.

Approach

To bring this to life, I fused that nostalgic aesthetic with Harajuku’s playful pop culture to craft something bold, vibrant, and distinctly local. The result: a colorful mashup of retro charm and Tokyo-style candy-fueled mayhem.
